Polymer Modified Laboratory was established recently in our division in order to prepare with the future material challenge in the field of asphalt concrete road surfacing. Even though the concept of polymer modified asphalt is not yet popular in Sri Lanka, it has applications all over the world. The laboratory is well equipped with the latest technologies and well trained technical staff to undertake laboratory testing related to the polymer modified asphalt.
