Bitumen Laboratory is well equipped with the latest technology to provide testing facilities to the road construction industry. The laboratory provides a wide range of necessary testing required in assessing the quality of Penetration Grade Bitumen, Cutback Bitumen, and Bitumen Emulsion for the road construction. Also, the laboratory provides mix designs for asphalt concrete. The laboratory has the capacity to undertake field testing including skid test, sand patch test, and core cutting. The laboratory management is well experienced and is capable to provide technical assistance related to the bituminous road surfaces. Also, the laboratory staff along with the guidance from the laboratory management is capable of handling failure analysis related to the bituminous road surfaces and proposed remedial measures accordingly.
